Issigeac & Perigord Noir
Not quite the southwest and not quite Bordeaux, the village of Issigeac is a time capsule of life in Perigord Noir. This is what I saw, ate, and experienced in and around Issigeac (like "izzy-JACK" with a softe "J") on a travel-writing-and-photographing visit one recent summer.
